Captain Schnook: Missing: one colorful parrot. Last seen sitting on Daryl Hannah's shoulder at the "Pirates of the Caribbean" premiere. We're assuming the actress' Captain Hook-ish get-up is a joke, but given some of her recent sartorial selections, we're not so sure. Either way, the "Splash" star should be made to walk the plank for pairing clunky black leather boots with an unattractive black see-through skirt. And Hannah's bizarre embroidered jacket and lace shirt should only be worn to swab the deck. As for that eye patch, we can only imagine there's an angry and organized group of cornea-challenged...

Parrot saves flat by shrieking 'Fire' A parrot saved its Russian owners' flat from being destroyed by fire when it raised the alarm. The parrot shrieked "Fire" repeatedly until neighbours heard and called the fire brigade. Firefighters arrived in time to save the apartment, in the Altai region. The married couple who live in the flat had gone out and the woman had accidentally left her hair tongs on.
